Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, East Lismore, aged 87 years. Loved wife of Henry (dec). Loved sister and stepsister of Joan Peters (dec), Joyce Mortimer, Helen Dening, and David Purnell. Much loved aunt of their families. Loved by the extended Clarke, Holmes and Purnell families.
Family & Friends are invited to attend the service of celebration for the life of Irene, to be held at The Chapel of the Lismore Memorial Gardens, Skyline Road, Goonellabah, Wednesday 29th October 2025, commencing at 10:00 AM. Irene’s ashes will be interred with her late husband at the Alstonville Lawn Cemetery.
